Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university OR Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse AND any related professional work experience.
Preferred Qualifications – External:
Georgia licensure as a Registered Nurse.

These RN positions are advertised for 2nd (3:00PM – 11:30PM) & 3rd (11:00PM – 7:30AM) shifts only, but are subject to HOLD-OVER.
A Hold-Over is the potential for an employee to need to remain on staff outside of their assigned shift to ensure core staffing requirements are maintained. This could potentially mean that an employee could be asked to work an additional eight hour shift on top of their regularly scheduled eight hours.
Qualifications:
A current Georgia license to practice as a registered professional nurse

Previous experience working with patients with mental illness a plus.
RN Charge Nurse – 3rd Shift

BSN a plus.
Licensed by the State of Georgia to practice as a Registered Nurse AND 3 years of experience supervising direct care staff.

Day Nurse Administrator
Description:
West Central Georgia Regional Hospital in Columbus, Ga. is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Day Nurse Administrator.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Reviews monthly work schedules of each unit to ensure adequate staffing to provide the level of nursing care required by The Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies, Advises Nurse Managers of any needed adjustments.
For assigned shift, compiles accurate statistical data with reference to staff on duty, patient conditions and precautions. Use the statistical reports to balance the available staffing on duty.
Perform daily unit rounds.
Serves as a resource for all direct care staff.
Responds to, and supervises all codes or disaster events. Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement.
Conduct assigned nursing audits monthly.
Periodically reviews nursing documentation for compliance with established guidelines. Identifies deficiencies, and take corrective actions if necessary. Submit written reports of events to appropriate manager.
Participates/conducts interviews and selection of nursing personnel when instructed. Interviews and selections are objective, based on the review of relevant experience, education and training and how the applicant responds in the interview process.
Ensures all orientation and competency requirements are met for 1st shift Forensic Service Technicians (FST’s) assigned to the floater pool, as well as assigned Agency and PRN staff.
Maintain accurate timekeeping in Kronos for Floater FST’s, assigned Agency staff and PRN staff.
Monitor the performance, by observations, reports for unit personnel and participation in training. Review compliance with directives, counseling and instructions for on-the-job training.
Serves as a backup for infection control in the absence of the Infection Control Nurse.
Participate in all Nurse recruiting events in collaboration with the HR Recruiter.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university OR Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND current Georgia License as a Registered Professional Nurse AND Two or more years in a managerial/supervisory of leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications – External:
Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
Five (5) years nursing experience.
